PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
BASF Stomp Xtra is a selective herbicide belonging to the dinitroaniline class. It contains Pendimethalin 38.7% CS and is designed for pre-emergence weed management in soybean, cotton, chilli, onion, groundnut, mustard and cumin. It targets susceptible annual grasses and broadleaf weeds during their germination stage.
The product works by interfering with cell division and cell elongation in susceptible weeds. BASF provides crop-specific application instructions, including use before sowing, shortly after sowing, or around transplanting depending on the crop. For soybean, the product is applied through pre-plant incorporation into the top 2–5 cm of soil. Other crops have specific application timings and water volumes.
The listed application rate is 1500–1750 ml/Ha for several crops, while mustard has a specified rate of 875 ml/Ha. Water requirements vary according to the crop.
